| What is your cancellation policy? The initial 50% deposit to secure the date is refundable, less any charges or costs incurred in the planning of your event if we are able to rebook the event date. As the event date comes closer, we have hired event staff, purchased foods and beverages, and have scheduled kitchen and preparation staff. For that reason, the client will be responsible for costs even if the event is cancelled. If the client notifies Plantation Catering in ample time, then we will make every effort to rebook the date or lower the amount of loss. The deposit will be forfeited on all cancellations made two weeks or less from the event date. |
